Zayn Malik has been spotted wearing a necklace that people are convinced was gifted to him by Liam Payne.
The 31-year-old-old was wearing the diamond choker at his One Direction bandmate’s funeral and has the same piece of jewellery around his neck on his ongoing UK tour.
Liam passed away on 16 October after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires. His funeral took place on November 20 at a church in Buckinghamshire.
Zayn Malik Wearing Liam Payne’s Necklace made me Emotional.
Liam originally wore 3 strands of Necklace.
Then Zayn wore 1 strand in Perfect magazine 2023.
From there we only saw Liam with 2 strands and Zayn the 1 strand.

In old pictures, Liam can be seen wearing three stacked necklaces exactly the same as Zayn’s one. Then, Zayn was spotted wearing one in a shoot with Perfect magazine in 2023.
After that, Liam was only wearing two during an interview on Steven Bartlett’s Diary Of A CEO podcast, so people think he must have gifted one of them to the Pillowtalk singer.
During one of his tour dates, Zayn touched the necklace and looked up to the sky, which left people even more convinced that the necklace was gifted to him by his late bandmate.
He started his first tour date in Leeds with a lovely tribute to Liam, writing on the screen behind him: Liam Payne. 1993-2024. Love you bro.”

After his tragic death, Zayn shared an emotional post on Instagram saying goodbye to his former bandmate.
“Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me. I can’t help but think selfishly that there [were] so many more conversations for us to have in our lives,” he said.
The 31-year-old spoke about Liam’s amazing personality and achievements before emotionally writing: “I lost a brother when you left us.”
“I can’t explain to you what I’d give just to give you a hug one last time, and say goodbye to you properly, and tell you that I loved and respected you dearly. I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever.”
“There [are] no words that justify or explain how I feel right now other than beyond devastated. I hope that wherever you are right now you are good and are at peace and you know how loved you are. Love you bro.”
