Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is a prequel to the Mad Max series, directed by George Miller. The film explores Furiosa’s origin story — from her abduction from the “Green Place of Many Mothers” to her transformation into a fierce warrior in a post-apocalyptic world.
In a desolate, dystopian future where Australia has become a scorched wasteland, young Furiosa is kidnapped by the Biker Horde led by the warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). After witnessing the death of her mother, she is raised by Dementus, who hopes she will lead him to the mythical Green Place.
Dementus later attacks the Citadel, ruled by Immortan Joe. Amidst the chaos, Furiosa is imprisoned alongside Joe’s “wives.” Hiding her identity by posing as a mute warrior, she rises through the ranks over more than a decade, contributing to the creation of the iconic War Rig — a massive battle vehicle.
She teams up with Praetorian Jack, a military commander, to plan an escape and seek revenge. After enduring brutal battles, Furiosa confronts Dementus in a final showdown. She captures him and uses his living body as fertilizer to grow a peach tree from a seed her mother once gave her.
Furiosa is then honored with the title of “Imperator” and prepares for the next chapter in her journey — leading directly into the events of Mad Max: Fury Road.
