Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Brittany Mahomes attend the Men’s Singles Final match between Taylor Fritz of the United States and Jannik Sinner of Italy on… Matthew Stockman/Getty Images“Okay tayphotographer she ate with this pic,” wrote one X user who posted a picture of Swift, 34, sitting beside boyfriend Travis Kelce and holding her phone up to capture the shot.
Brittany Mahomes, 29, posted an Instagram carousel with the caption, “My honey deuce,” a reference to the popular drink that has gone viral at the US Open this summer. The first photo shows the soccer team owner and her quarterback husband, 28, standing arm in arm, while the second is Swift’s candid photo.
“Taylor always gets the best angles! 📸” commented one Instagram follower.
Still, the recent political turmoil surrounding Brittany Mahomes’ support of Donald Trump made its way into the Instagram comments. “@brittanylynne we love Taylor, Travis, Pat, and you…please take back your support of Trump or fully acknowledge that you support him. Don’t take our girl down with you,” pleaded a fan. On the other hand, some followers encouraged Mahomes’ political opinions. “New follower. Thank you for standing up and supporting Trump. 🧡🙏🏼” wrote one such fan.
The foursome appeared to enjoy themselves at the Open, where champagne, lobster rolls, and of course, Honey Deuces were apparently on the menu. Kelce and Swift’s singalong moment quickly went viral and even significantly boosted Spotify streams of The Darkness’ “I Believe in A Thing Called Love.”
